Contribute to research, teaching in econometrics, statistics or economic theory and related areas, work with other dept. members. For Econometrics main research area are: panel data and time series econometrics. For Economic Theory: game and social choice theory and algorithmic mechanism design.

Requirements
Doctorate
PhD degree (in economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science or related fields) completed before September 1st 2008, strong research orientation, willingness to work in teams. Professorial potential to work in the department fields of expertise.

The Department of Quantitative Economics is part of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and consists of the three research groups: Econometrics, Mathematical Economics and Game Theory and Operations Research. The research of the department of Quantitative Economics makes part of Meteor.

Conditions of employment

Estimated maximum salary per month: eur 4000 - 4500
Salaryscale 11.
Maximum salary amount in Euro's a month 4190
Employment basis: Temporary for specified period
Duration of the contract: 3 years
Maximum hours per week: 38



Additional conditions of employment:
Salary: competitive, depending on qualifications and work experience. You receive an 8% holiday allowance. Non-Dutch applicants could be eligible for a tax treatment (30% rule).
