Job Offer for Doctoral Students in Public Economics, University of St. Gallen

The Institute of Public Finance and Fiscal Law at the University of St. Gallen (IFF-HSG) offers a position of a Research and Teaching Assistant in Public Economics

The institute is engaged in applied and theoretical research on tax reform and fiscal policy, with a particular focus on business taxation, international taxation, venture capital, and welfare state policies in the presence of labor market frictions.

We expect
- Excellent diploma or master's degree in economics with strong training in microeconomics and public economics
- Participation in the PhD Program in Economics and Finance (PEF) of the University of St. Gallen
- Active participation in research projects and teaching activities of the institute (IFF-HSG)
- Active contributions to the joint research and teaching activities of an ambitious team

The position is available beginning with March 2008. Deadline for applications: February 15, 2008.
