PhD scholarships at the Department of Economics

The Department of Economics invites applications for four vacant PhD scholarships within the following research areas:

Corporate governance/corporate finance Energy economics Regional trade agreements Applied economics

The scholarship within corporate governance/finance, energy economics and regional trade agreements are related to specific grants from the Danish Social Science Research Council. The scholarship on corporate governance/finance is embedded in a research project entitled "Families and Firms: The impact of family risk and organization on the governance of closely held corporations", directed by Prof. Morten Bennedsen (mb.eco@cbs.dk). The scholarship on energy economics is embedded in a research project entitled "Risky Power: Choice of technology, security of supply, and market power in power markets", directed by Prof. Peter Møllgaard (hpm.eco@cbs.dk). The scholarship on regional trade agreements is embedded in a research project entitled Flexibility in Regional Trade Agreements, directed by Prof. Pascalis Raimondos-Møller (prm.eco@cbs.dk). Closing date: 8 August 2008 at 12.00 noon.
