The Program on Causal Inference in Epidemiology at the Harvard School
of Public Health invites applications for two post-doctoral research fellow
positions.
The research fellow will work on the application and development of
methods for comparative effectiveness research from complex longitudinal
data, with an emphasis on the comparison of dynamic strategies. The main areas
of application include the effects of pharmacological, nutritional, and
lifestyle exposures on cardiovascular disease and HIV disease. The research will
be based on data from large prospective cohort studies, electronic medical
records, and a multinational collaboration of HIV cohorts from Europe and North
America
A doctoral degree in epidemiology, statistics, or a related
quantitative field is required. The ideal candidate will have excellent
technical and writing skills, expert knowledge of the SAS language, and an
ability to collaborate with colleagues within and beyond the group.
