Telah dibuka pendaftaran beasiswa untuk Master dan Doctoral di University of Ulsan, Korea Selatan (Deadline 20 May 2013), dengan syarat kemampuan bahasa inggris:
1. Untuk jurusan Natural Sciences, Engineering, Arts / Sports, dan  Medicine Minimal TOEFL PBT 450+, CBT 120+, iBT 40+, IELTS 4.5+ or TOEIC 500+

2. Untuk jurusan Humanities, Social Sciences, Business Administration minimal TOEFL PBT 550+, CBT 210+, iBT 80+, IELTS 5.5+ or TOEIC 650+

Ditingkat universitas tidak ada seleksi wawancara, tetapi ketika melakukan kontak dengan calon pembimbing biasanya ada wawancara via email atau telepon (tergantung professor).

Bagaimana cara mendapatkan beasiswa?

Umumnya penerima beasiswa harus sudah mendapatkan calon supervisor yang bersedia membimbing selama kuliah dan menyediakan stipend bulanan. 

Untuk mengetahui list profesor silahkan buka link http://global.ulsan.ac.kr/contents/academics/programs/graduate/ klik di list jurusan yang sesuai pilihan (menu sebelah kanan). Pilih menu "faculty" maka di sana akan ada list professor yang berisi bidang penelitian dan kemungkinan menerima mahasiswa asing beserta jumlah stipend bulanan yang ditawarkan. Setelah menemukan yang sesuai, segera hubungi via email dan tanyakan kemungkinan menerima mahasiswa asing di labnya. Jika professor sudah POSITIF menerima, langkah selanjutnya adalah mengirimkan berkas dokumen yang dibutuhkan ke International Office tidak lebih dari tanggal 20 May 2013.

Jika anda mendapatkan biaya bulanan dari professor sebesar USD400/bulan, ini cukup untuk satu orang dengan catatan kita tinggal di Asrama kampus, bahkan bisa saving sekitar USD50-100/bulan, tergantung gaya hidup.

Postdoc opportunities - "Investigating Internet-based Politics with e-Research Tools"

YeungNam University in South Korea is currently recruiting 2 post-doctoral researchers for an immediate start. (http://www.yu.ac.kr/_english/main/index.php)

As part of the World Class Universities (WCU) project, we have recently been awarded a 3-year competitive grant, running from September 2009 to June 2012, by the Korean Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. Successful applicants will join the team led by Prof. Han Woo Park of YeungNam University, Prof. Greg Elmer of the Infoscape
Research Lab (Canada, http://www.infoscapelab.ca) and Prof. Maurice Vergeer of Radboud University (the Netherlands) and carry out a project entitled "Investigating Internet-based Politics with e-Research Tools". Monthly salary will be in the region of 3 million Korean Won and conference travel funds will also be available.

Successful applicants should have English communication skills and the ability to work in a team. Experience in computer programming, statistical modelling, network analysis, information science, or Internet politics is desirable but not a must.

SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES
GSFS Program aims to recruit excellent foreign students from universities in East, Southeast, and Central Asia to help them achieve their dream of continuing graduate studies. After collecting different ideas from all the departments of the university, we finalize the GSFS Program for every semester. Therefore the period of scholarship, eligible countries and universities, number of students per major and information on financial support can change. Please refer to attached guideline for GSFS.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- International applicants who are currently enrolling or who graduated from the eligible universities of Graduate Scholarship for Excellent Graduate Students Program
- Students who applied for the designated department which participate with the GSFS Program for the fall semester 2009
- Demonstrate financial need

Postdoctoral Position on Business Process Management in Logistics
We are looking for a post-doctoral fellow interested in working on Logistic Process Management supported by Brain Korea 21 (BK21) project at Pusan National University (PNU). This program was established by Korean Government to assist promising and highly qualified young researchers wishing to conduct research in South Korea. It aims at providing opportunities for such researchers to conduct cooperative research with leading research groups in universities and other Korean institutions. Such collaboration will advance scientific research.

Any of candidates with Phd degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Management Information System is encouraged to have research opportunity in Business & Service Computing Laboratory, Industrial Engineering Department, PNU.

Brief Introduction about Pusan National University

Graduate Scholarships at Seoul National University

Graduate Scholarship for Foreign Excellent Students Program

In order to provide foreign students with more equal opportunities, the applying method for the Graduate Scholarship for Foreign Excellent Students Program will be the same as the application process for foreign students and it will be available online at http://admission. snu.ac.kr.

This change will take place starting from the first semester in 2009. While the Office of International Affairs will deal with the overall program, the office in charge of registration will be the office of admissions.

For those who are interested in the Graduate Scholarship for Foreign Excellent Students Program apply online by 18:00 (Thursday) July 31st 2008 and send the original documents to the office of admissions by 18:00 (Friday) August 1st 2008.

We plan to place a notice about the eligible countries and universities, the number of students per major and information on financial support online by early July 2008. The online applicants will be filtered and categorized by their university of graduation. The final decision will be made by the screening committee.
