The DFG Research Training Group "Analysis, Geometry and String
Theory" is offering
six PhD positions in Mathematics/Physics
starting from 01 October, 2008. The appointments are limited to two years. An extension for one year is possible. Candidates will have the opportunity to work towards a doctoral degree in Analysis, Geometry or Mathematical Physics. Applicants are expected to hold a Master's degree or a Diplom in Mathematics or Physics. The successful applicants are expected to contribute to the teaching programme of the research training group.
