To celebrate the University's research successes, the University of
Hull is offering 20 UK/EU PhD Scholarship, or International Fees
Bursaries for candidates with a 1st, 2(i), or equivalent, in the
thematic areas of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences:
Civil Liberties and Human Rights
Commercial Law
European Law
Environmental Law
Experts and the Law
International Law
Law of the Sea
Mediation and Conflict Resolution
Medical Law and Ethics
The Law of Mortgage
Restorative Justice
Closing date 11th January 2013. Studentships will start in September 2013

Applicants will be expected to hold a minimum of a UK upper second
class Honours degree, or equivalent, in an appropriate discipline.
Each full-time UK/EU PhD Scholarship will include fees at the
'home/EU' student rate and maintenance (£13,590 in 2013/14) for three
years, depending on satisfactory progress.
The International PhD Fee bursaries will cover full tuition fees for
full-time overseas students for three years, depending on satisfactory
progress, but no living expenses.
Successful applicants will be informed of the award by 29th March 2013.
