The Centre for Global Eco-Innovation brings together the expertise,
resources and global reach of Lancaster University and the University
of Liverpool, together with international commercialisation
consultancy Inventya Ltd. The centre is forming collaborative R&D
partnerships to enable and drive innovation in businesses, supporting
the development of new products, processes and services for the global
marketplace that have positive environmental benefits.
The centre is now recruiting 50 exceptional graduates from the UK and
overseas to undertake R&D with 50 leading high-growth science and
technology businesses. We are seeking graduates with a background in
science, technology or engineering and welcome applications from
experienced people currently working in industry.
By joining the Centre for Global Eco-innovation, you will:
Register to study for a PhD from either Lancaster University or
the University of Liverpool
Receive £16,000 per year (approximately equivalent to a £21,000
salary) as a centre graduate
Undertake a substantive collaborative project with a business with
a base in the Northwest of the UK
Have your postgraduate tuition fees paid for by your partner
business (worth £12,000)
Become one of 50 graduates at the heart of a radical new centre
for business-led R&D
Develop new products, processes and services for international markets
Gain a postgraduate qualification from one of two world-class universities
The Centre for Global Eco-innovation is the only centre of its
kind in Europe and is part financed by the European Regional
Development Fund.
