PHD PROGRAMME / RESEARCH SCHOLAR POSITIONS (FINANCE)

PhD scholarships are available in Finance at NHH. The Department of Finance and Management Science has a large, research-active group that offers a stimulating environment for doctoral studies and research within this discipline.
As part of the PhD Programme, students are obliged to work part-time (25%) as Research Scholars during their studies, providing teaching and/or research assistance to the Department.
QUALIFYING EDUCATION Applicants are to have completed, or almost completed, a minimum of a Master’s degree (5 years’ duration) in a quantitative field such as Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or the physical sciences. (Applicants lacking a degree in Economics or Business Administration, are recommended to undertake some coursework at the University level). A good working knowledge of English is also required, as the entire PhD programme is taught in English.
