Research Fellows/International Masters Bursaries
Institute of Irish Studies
Queen's University Belfast has a long and distinguished record in scholarship and teaching in a range of disciplines within the area of Irish Studies. To consolidate and build on this success the University unveiled its Irish Studies International Research Initiative (IRI) in 2007. A total of five posts are available for 12 months each, commencing September 2008. Successful applicants will become active members of the research team assisting in delivery of the research activity within a specified area. Three new Fellowship posts will be available within the Institute of Irish Studies. Applications for these are welcome in the broad research area of Irish Studies but particularly in projects that can contribute to the Institute's research programme and that of the Schools in the University.
Interviews will be held during the week beginning 10 March 2008.
Closing date: 4.00pm, Friday 22 February 2008
Salary Scale: £27,466 - £35,837 per annum (including contributionpoints)

The University is offering two bursaries for students undertaking a Masters Program within the area of Irish Studies. Applications for these studentships are invited from non EU students. The bursaries will be for one year and cover both fees and stipend.
