Scholarship funds are available to support a top-level graduate student wishing to read for a PhD degree in Robust Control Theory and/or Robust Control Application to Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. The funds are available through an EPSRC project and are available to either UK or EU or overseas students. The successful candidate will work with Dr A Lanzon at the Control Systems Centre, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Manchester, UK. Excellent knowledge of modern control theory and control fundamentals is essential, and demonstrable mathematical strengths are desirable.
