For the PhD. Courses activated for the academic year 2008/2009 (X cycle - new series), with administrative seat at the University of Salerno, are assigned n.6 additional grants reserved to foreign nationals, or to italian citizens resident abroad, that qualified for the attendance of the Courses with the modalities described in the Article 5.
The grants are distributed in the following two scientific areas, in which have been collected the Ph.D. Courses that foresee a merit ranking list:
- Humanistic
– Law
– Economic Area
- Technical
– Scientific and bio – medical Area
If, in a given area, the number of eligible candidates will be lower than the available grants, the excess grants will be used in the other area.
To the grants referred in this article apply the general rules of article 7. The eligibility for the admission to the Courses is given, within the rules in following article 5, after a selective assessment of the documentation submitted by the candidates made by Examining Commissions for the admission to the X cycle – new series of Ph.D. Courses with administrative seat at the University of Salerno; The Commission provides a list of eligible candidates which is independent and separated from that relative to ordinary positions for each Ph.D.
Course.
The candidates that will be considered eligible will follow the Ph.D.
Course for which they have applied in excess with respect to the
number ordinary positions. They can also apply for an additional grant
with the rules listed in this document.
Can apply to the selective assessment based only on submitted documentation foreign nationals, or Italian citizens resident abroad, who hold a foreign academic qualification deemed equivalent to the Italian "laurea magistrale", "laurea specialistica", or "diploma di laurea" obtained under the previous regulations. The equivalence, if not already recognized through international agreements, can be granted, for public exam purposes only, by the Examining Commissions for the admission to the X cycle – new series of Ph.D. Courses with administrative seat at the University of Salerno;
Applications for the selection procedure shall be drawn up on paper
according to the form prepared by the University Administration Office
and available on the University of Salerno internet site at:
http://www.unisa.it/formazione_post_laurea/Dottorati_di_Ricerca/index.php,
and mailed to the following address: Magnifico Rettore (Chancellor) of the University of Salerno – Area III "Didattica e Ricerca", Via Ponte don Melillo – 84084 Fisciano (Salerno). Envelopes must me mailed, sent only by return registered post (Raccomandata con avviso di ricevimento), within thirty days from the day after the publication of this public notice in the Gazzetta Ufficiale della Repubblica Italiana
– IV Serie Speciale, Concorsi ed Esami. Postmarks shall be accepted as
proof of date of posting. In case the deadline corresponds to an holiday, it is extended to the first occurring working day.
For the admission to the selective assessment is required:
a) the possess of civil and political rights also in the country of origin or citizenship
b) the possess, beside Italian citizenship, of all other requirements necessary to Italian citizens;
c) the possess of the degree requested in the previous article 2.
All requirements must be in the possess of the candidate within the deadline for the presentation of the application for admission. The candidates are admitted to the selective assessment with a reservation of verification of the requirements listed above.
