Scholarships at HEC School of Management

Throughout its 125 years of history, HEC School of Management has continually attracted a special kind of individual highly capable and talented, innovative, entrepreneurial, ambitious and open minded. HEC ‘s aim is to train the world leaders of tomorrow.

HEC scholarships fall into various categories: merit-based, need-based, based on a combination of merit and need, or based on specific criteria, as in the case of the Forté Scholarship or the Alcatel Scholarship. Since each HEC MBA Scholarship is different, we advise applicants to launch the application process as early as possible. In some cases, an essay is required.

To be eligible for the scholarships, admitted candidates must supply details about their financial status and how they intend to finance their studies over the duration of the 16-month HEC MBA Program. All scholarship applications are initially completed online. For some scholarships, applicants may be required to attend an interview.

HEC- EGIDE/ EIFFEL Scholarships
Launched in January 1999 by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministère des Affaires Etrangères), the Eiffel Scholarship is designed to bolster international recruiting by French schools of higher education, at a time when competition to attract top foreign students is growing among developed countries.

Eligibility:
* Be aged 30 years old or less in the selection year
* Have a single nationality from a developing country deemed an 'emerging country' by the French state department, especially those in Asia and Latin America, for example, currently under-represented among the student population in France

Amount of Award: The Eiffel Scholarship provides participants with a monthly allowance of €1,031, and covers additional expenses including travel, health insurance and cultural activities. Tuition fees are not covered by the scholarship.

Application Deadline: End of November each year.

HEC- Fondation Rainbow Bridge
The Fondation Rainbow Bridge Scholarship was established in memory of Muriel Dargent (1967 – 2004), Matthieu Dargent (1997 – 2004), Iris Dargent (2001 – 2004), and Muriel's parents, all of whom disappeared in the December 2004 Tsunami.

Eligibility: Recipients of this scholarship are top-caliber female candidates who have been admitted to the HEC MBA program and who can demonstrate exemplary leadership skills in one or more of the following areas: Community work,Charity engagement, Sustainable development practices.

Amount of Awards: € 20,000 each

Number of Awards:Two scholarships for the September intake, and two for the January intake

HEC- Forté Foundation Scholarships
As part of our partnership with the Forté Foundation, the HEC MBA Program will offer exceptional women four significant scholarships per graduating class. By opening educational pathways, the HEC Forté scholarships will help improve leadership opportunities for women in business. Recipients of the Forté Scholarship are high-quality candidates who meet our standard selection criteria and have demonstrated exemplary leadership skills in: Academics, Team building, Community work, Creative activity

Eligibility: Candidates should have demonstrated a commitment to women via personal mentorship or community involvement.

Amount of Award: Variable, up to €15,000

Number of Awards:3 scholarships for the September intake, 1 for the January intake

HEC MBA Scholarships for Excellence
The HEC Scholarships for Excellence are designed for exceptional applicants who understand the value proposition of an MBA from our top-ranked business school. In turn, the award is our way of attracting the best students and helping them achieve their personal and professional goals.

Eligibility: All MBA applicants are encouraged to apply for these merit-based scholarships, and we will base our decision on the overall strength of each application. Candidates should have demonstrated academic excellence, career progression, leadership skills and management potential.

HEC- Ile-de-France Master's Scholarship
To support its policies in favor of students' international mobility, the Ile-de-France region has established the Ile-de-France Master's Scholarship, intended to allow institutions of higher education in the Paris region to welcome foreign students, hailing primarily from decentralized zones of cooperation and wishing to follow a Master's program (first and/or second year). The total number of scholarships is determined each year, based on the amount of regional funding available.

Eligibility: The Ile-de-France Master's Scholarship is open to students from the following nationalities: South-African, Argentinean, Brazilian, Canadian, Chilean, Hungarian, Indian, Lebanese, Malagasy, Malian, Moroccan, Mauritanian, Polish, Russian, Senegalese, and Vietnamese. Bi-national candidates with French nationality will not be given priority. There is no fixed age limit.

L'Oreal Scholarship

* Leadership potential, including the ability to take initiative, motivate others, provide direction, and foster collaboration
* Creativity and innovative thinking

The way to AMINEF in Gedung Balai Pustaka

American Indonesian Exchange Foundation

1. The buses which goes to Senen Bus Station all of them pass through Gedung Balai Pustaka. Especially which route is through Pasar Baru .

2. Bus Transjakarta, from Blok M you have to change the bus 2-3 times.
Way 1 : from Blok M change the bus in Dukuh Atas bus stop to the bus towards Pulogadung, then take a bus in Pramuka bus stop towards Ancol, this bus pass through Gedung Balai Pustaka. The closest bus stop (Budi Utomo) is about 800 meters from Gedung Balai .
Way 2 : From Blok M take the bus in the Harmoni Bus Stop, the bus towards Pulogadung, get down in Senen Bus Stop and walk about 800 meters, or from this bus stop take the bus towards Ancol and get down as mentioned in way 1. About the distance, this two bus stops is about the same. (It is better if you take ojek or bajaj from this bus stop to Gedung Balai Pustaka)

3. If you take taxi with old tariff (TL=Tarif Lama) from blok M with no traffic jam is about Rp. 30.000,00.

4. From Blok M use bus Patas AC 76. Gedung Balai Pustaka is in the right side, after you pass through Depag, and say to conductor "Balai Pustaka"

5. Use a busway from Blok M towards Kota, get down in Sawah Besar bus stop. From here take a Mikrolet M12 towards Senen. After cross road Wahidin and before senen get down and cross the street.

Living Cost in Germany

Living Cost in Germany is vary from city to city, but this is th case if you stay in Aachen, Germany
Student accommodation or private sharing : 180 - 230 euros per month
Food : 10 - 12 euros per day (if eating outside)
Transport for students : free within Aachen and until Koln and Dusseldorf in regional trains)

Living Cost In Austria

Living Cost in Austria is depending on the city, for example the Capital of Austria, Vienna:
- Dormitory is about 250-400 euro per month.
- Living Cost 200-400 euro per month.
- Transportation 128 euro per 4 months (student and age < 26), or 49 euro per month (ordinary)

For visa, it has to be a letter from the University/Scholl in Austria. It takes about 2-3 months.
