The University of Luxembourg is looking in its Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance for 1 assistant (PhD in Law) (M/F)
With a specialization in private international law, comparative law or civil law

2-year contract, renewable once for an equal period, 40h/week
The assistant will be part of the Research unit of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance and will then contribute to research projects led in the fields of private international law and more particularly civil law.
Mission
* Prepare a doctoral thesis in private international law, comparative law or civil law. The thesis should be done at the University of Luxembourg but can be part of a joint supervision with another university.
* Assist the professor in his teaching activities, one to three hours per week.
* Contribute to tutoring students
Profile
* Master in Law or equivalent
* Have the linguistic skills required to evolve in a multilingual environment. Fluency in at least two of the three working languages (French, German and English) is a prerequisite
* Understanding of the third will be considered an advantage. Given that most courses are taught in French the applicant must be able to teach in this language.
* Team-oriented
