Job description
Function title: 4 Ph.D Positions
The focus of the department's research program is on political institutions (broadly defined), their design, workings, and implications. Candidates are expected to work within this program and to assist in the teaching of two courses a year. Capacity to supervise the candidate, taking into account the profile of the department, is a determining consideration.
Applications (in English) should include:
a letter of interest;
curriculum vitae;
degree transcript of the highest degree obtained (or to be awarded this year), in the form of a transcript/grade-sheet from your university;
the names and addresses of two potential referees;
a research proposal (approx. 2000 words) and an abstract of the proposal (max. 100 words)
Requirements
Required education/skills:University Graduate
a MA or MPhil degree in political science or a comparable area with excellent results;
a sound knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods;
a good command of English (speaking, writing, reading)
