PhD Studentships Acute lung injury School of Medicine & Dentistry
The School of Medicine & Dentistry are offering ten 3 year PhD studentships commencing September 2008. Applicants should hold or expect to obtain a 1st class honours or upper 2:1 degree in a relevant biological science.
Eligibility for both fees and maintenance (£12,940 in 2008/09) depends on the applicants being either an ordinary UK resident or those EU residents who have lived permanently in the UK for the 3 years immediately preceding the start of the studentship. Non UK residents who hold EU residency may also apply but if successful may receive fees only. Two of the awards are identified for outstanding overseas candidates who will be eligible for fees and maintenance support.
