Assistantship in Aquaculture market and marketing
To study the consumers preference for Asian Carps (live and fresh) in ethnic markets
Arkansas is the second leading aquaculture producing state in the U.S. and is the birthplace of warmwater aquaculture. The aquaculture industry is a major segment of agriculture in Arkansas and is important to the statewide economy. Market and marketing issues are at the forefront of industry concerns. In order to expand aquaculture market, it is essential to design products that match consumer preference and to encourage consumers recognition and acceptance of new or different products.
Responsibilities: The successful applicant will conduct his/her M.S. degree research on the above topic.
Qualifications: B.S. in aquaculture, fisheries, or related field, minimum GPA of 3.0 , and GRE score of 1,000+ (verbal + quantitative). Minimum TOEFL score of 500 for international students. Minor in economics and /or training in quantitative analysis will be plus.
Salary: Year 1 $15,320; Year 2 $16,320.
