The University of Manchester Overseas (PG) Research Studentship (ORS)

ORS awards provide funding to help outstanding full time postgraduateoverseas research students. It provides funding to pay the differencebetween the international student tuition fees and the home/EU studenttuition fees. The School of MACE then covers the home/EU fee element andawards approximately £4,500 per annum for maintenance.
*Qualifications applicants should have/expected to receive
*Applicants must either possess a first class honours degree or internationalequivalent (this is normally determined as being within, at least, the top10% of your graduating cohort) or hold a Master's degree with distinction.Applicants will be considered solely on the basis of their academicexcellence and research potential.
*Amount of funding available and eligibility:

*Applicants are required to complete an Overseas PG Research StudentshipApplication Form and provide two references - one external (ORS form 2) andone from the potential supervisor within the School (ORS form 3) theapplicant will be attending. The references should demonstrate that theapplicant is considered to have outstanding research potential.
