*Full time scholarship (at A$19,616 per annum) leading to a PhD in AppliedMathematics is available to selected applicant. Topics of interest includenonlinear instability theory as it applies to problems in computationalbiology and geophysical fluid dynamics. The work will involve a combinationof analysis and large scale computing. Applicants should have a strongbackground in Applied Mathematics or Physics with a bachelors or higherdegree.
