The Medical Sciences Division is pleased to announce the availability of 20PhD studentships in the following 4 Year Doctoral Programmes:

Each 4-year programme will comprise a first year common to all studentswithin that programme and a 3-year self directed research project. The firstyear will include taught modules and laboratory rotations designed to equipstudents with the knowledge to make an informed choice of doctoral project.
These programmes are available for admission in October 2008 and are open toall Home/EU and overseas students. A starting stipend of approximately£17,442 per annum will be provided. Tuition fees will be paid at the Home/EUrate.
